How 3D Printing Works

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process which involves making a three dimensional drawing using CAD software.  Once the drawing is created in CAD we are able to process the drawing into layers which can be printed with the 3D printer.  These drawings are output as .stl or .obj files to be sent to the printer.  The printer melts material and builds up the object one layer at a time.

If you have completed .stl or .obj files we can work with you to print them in the material of you choice.  At this point we cannot print metal parts.  We are able to print in many different plastics and carbon fiber reinforced materials.

Please contact us with your 3D printing ideas and we will work with you to bring them to reality.
